Expected salary range:

  • Entry Level - $73,000
  • Mid-level: $ 84,000 - $ 104,00
  • Senior Level: $109,000- $142,000

Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for providing technical expertise in support of performing engineering problem solving activities. Possesses a high degree of knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for providing technical expertise in support of performing engineering problem solving activities. Possesses a high degree of knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application.  Perform nuclear engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.  Support nuclear engineering work functions.  Participate in the implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established programs, policies and procedures. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Assoc Engineering Analyst/E01

  • 4-year technical degree (non-engineer)* OR
  • 2-year technical degree* and minimum 1 years of nuclear or related industry experience* OR
  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years nuclear experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Engineering Analyst/E02

  • 4-year technical degree (non-engineer)* and a minimum 2 years of nuclear or related industry experience* OR
  • 2-year technical degree* and a minimum 3 years of nuclear or related industry experience* OR
  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years applicable nuclear or related industry experience**, working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific function area

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Engineering Analyst/E03

  • 4-year technical degree (non-engineering)* and a minimum 5 years of nuclear or related industry experience* OR
  • 2-year technical degree* and a minimum 7 years of nuclear or related industry experience* OR
  • High School Diploma and a minimum 8 years nuclear experience (5 of the 8 years must be at the exempt level**)

Key Elements:

  • Ability to manage a software development project throughout the entire software
    development life-cycle.
  • Ability to interpret third-party user manuals and API documentation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and maintain software along with user manuals and relevant
    documentation for QA.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Python, C#, or Java
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
  • Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (i.e. SQLite, PostgreSQL,
    etc)
  • Software engineering knowledge including Agile software development.
  • Familiarity with ETL work-flows and data pipelines.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience using C and FORTRAN for high performance computing and ETL
    work-flows.
  • Experience using git, Azure DevOps, and Visual Studio
  • Familiarity with libraries like d3.js, plotly (both Python and js libraries), pandas, and
    matplotlib.
