While this is a volunteer position, serving on the founding board of Your Helping Handsoffers a wide range of meaningful personal and professional benefits. As a founding board member, you’ll play a key role in shaping the vision, values, and direction of a mission-driven organization from the ground up—creating a lasting legacy that will support caregivers and families during some of life’s most difficult moments.
This is a unique opportunity to align your passion with purpose, using your personal and professional experiences to make a tangible impact in your community. Whether you’ve been a caregiver yourself or feel called to support those who are, your lived experience and insights are invaluable. Board service at YHH allows you to deepen that impact while building new connections with compassionate individuals and professionals across healthcare, nonprofit, and philanthropic spaces.
Beyond the heart-centered work, you’ll also gain hands-on leadership experience and develop or expand your skills in areas like nonprofit governance, fundraising, strategy, and outreach. Serving on our board offers the chance to grow your network, strengthen your voice in the caregiving advocacy space, and experience the fulfillment that comes from building something that truly matters.
