As a Project Engineer, you'll be paired with a Superintendent and Project Manager to gain hands-on, onsite experience for a minimum of one year. This full-time, entry-level role is designed to launch your career by developing your expertise in: All phases in construction operations

What You'll Do

  • Establish and maintain a fully functional jobsite office, including proper signage, required postings, and job flow sequencing.
  • Organize and maintain all construction documents: Blueprints, plans, specs, shop drawings, and revisions.
  • Manage jobsite processes such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, Project scheduling, and invoicing/Pay Apps.
  • Support the subcontractor bidding, qualification, and award processes.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting bid packages to clients and ownership.
  • Help evaluate costs and negotiate for value.
  • Communicate accurate, timely project updates across teams and partners.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Local resident to Pittsburgh, PA
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or any engineering related field.
  • Internship or co-op experience in construction or project management.
  • A strong interest in the built environment and construction industry.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office package software (i.e Excel, word, Project, etc.)
  • Enjoy problem solving and working with several different team members for one common goal.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

  • Onsite locally in Pittsburgh, PA
  • Perform medium work exerting up to 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds.
  • See, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push, and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
  • Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.
  • Valid driver's license.
